Who on Earth IS THIS GUY?
Hi there, my name is Gary Francis Roche and I am an animator, storyboard artist, and self-taught editor, skilled in a variation of software such as Autodesk Maya, Maxon Cinema 4D, self-taught in Procreate, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro CC.

I was born in London, and educated at William Morris Sixth Form where I earned a diploma in GCSE and BTEC Art & Design, A-Level Fine Art and Philosophy, Physical Theatre and Movement, I took on a 2-year course in Landscape and Studio Photography for Film and Fashion at Direct Studios, a drama student for two years at The Poor School to pursue an acting career, with very little success in auditions with only having performed in site-specific events for Lapland UK during the winter period, as well as doing performance pieces and hosting for the Tui Cruise Ship Tours, taking on small bit roles in an unaired TV series, and starring in an independent horror short. Then I veered towards filmmaking, having made my own short documentaries, and short films, and offered my services as a cinematographer on other aspiring filmmakers' short films, and as a freelance camera operator for corporate work, before coming full circle to following my original path in animation and getting my degree for a BA (Hons) in The Art of Computer Animation at Escape Studios.

Since I graduated, I've offered my services as a freelance storyboard artist to friends, friends of friends' short films, did pitch work for Fire Without Smoke, and have just recently finished my time in my first studio job as a Junior 3D Animator for the pre-school TV series, Pop Paper City for LoveLove Films, based in Bournemouth, under the distribution of Aardman Animations.
